25 years a muso

Easter Thursday this year marks 25 years since I kissed the old day job goodbye & became a full-time, professional entertainer! I'm not sure how I'm gonna commemorate it yet, but watch this space. it's been a great ride, so i want to do something to reflect the time I've had

The best news, Lauren & I are back doing our Acoustic Duo thang at The Great Provider @ St.Kilda marina. Looking forward to another Long, Hot Summer in the Gazebo where the beer's cold, the music's hot & the new grass area rocks - 3.30 kickoff..

The best news 2 We're doing a new residency at The Groove Train in Church St Brighton. It's a Supper club thang, we start at 10 & we're featuring Coxy from the Roxy on percussion vocals & drawing the raffle. We gave it life with a special New Year's Eve show & we're very happy with the result. The food's great, the entertainment's great come down on Friday & check it out - tell 'em "Coxy sent ya"

We've got a lot of changes and new things coming to the website - with Facebook, Myspace etc. it's all got too hard to handle so My webmaster (Tomo my son) & I are working on making this site BV central with music downloads, fotos & the latest news. So keep an eye on it. I'm recording demos for an album of country tunes, I'm making Youtube clips of a couple of my songs & I have a song submitted for the upcoming movie of 'Dirt Music' the book by Tim Winton. http://www.myspace.com/loverustler
